Two Pocket Bag no.2
Halfway between a tote bag and a purse, and made from lightweight, semi-soft leather. This black and tan cowhide is 5-6 ounces in weight and is tanned by Horween in Chicago.
Made entirely by hand in leather studio in Ithaca, N.Y.
11" wide at the bottom, 8" tall at the short point in the curved top, 4" deep with two cell phone side pockets that are 3.5" wide by 6.5" tall. The distance from the top of the strap to the top of the bag (we call this "drop") is about 15.5". Bag closes with an antique brass magnetic snap.
Leather is a natural product, and each piece we work with has a slightly different grain pattern and slight variations in color. We carefully lay out our patterns to showcase the beauty of all parts of a hide, which results in bags that are truly one of a kind.
Hand sewn with a saddle stitch.
